Christmas tablescape in Royal Stafford Christmas Home

I collect a number of Christmas china patterns but my absolute holiday favorite is Royal Stafford Christmas Home. I try to decorate my house with a lot of black and white, and this charming pattern ties in well with that.
The plates are rimmed in a whimsical black polka dot pattern alongside a garland of decorate with bells, pinecones, ornaments and red bows. The central image is the front door of a snowy little cottage. Through the front windows, we see a lovely Christmas tree, a poinsettia plant and a candle in the window. More garlands of greenery are hung from the house and the front door is wearing a lovely green wreath with a red plaid ribbon. Snow is falling and we get the sense that the house is awaiting a Christmas Eve dinner guest or maybe a visit from carolers. There is a sense of quiet and peace in the pattern.
Each Christmas eve, I decorate my table with this lovely English pottery, made in Burlselm, England. This pattern now comes with other center designs but I haven’t collected any yet. I hope to grow my collection and I’ll report back if I add any of the other additions!
